This vigorous rose has unusual blooms of off-white that are striped with purple and crimson. They appear in mid summer and are cupped in shape and very fragrant. AKA La Rubanee. From France 1845.
Village Maid We will not have this plant 2025/26. aka The Green Rose China. Known as the green rose, this unusual variety has flowers that look like leaves. Is mostly green with brown markings. Very easy to grow and few disease problems. Flowers from early summer through to autumn. A popular and interesting rose for floral work. Is happiest when pruned lightly. 1833. The blooms appear continuously throughout the season and have a delightful fragrance. Quite strong and robust, can cope with a little shade and is generally healthy and disease resistant. 1962.
